Centre 33 is happy to welcome all-comers! Our visitors come from a variety of backgrounds – some are rough-sleepers, some are people living in temporary accommodation, and others are just people just looking for a pleasant atmosphere to come and be social.
Centre 33 provides hot meals and drinks. There is also a shower – towels and toiletries are free. And second hand clothes are available from time to time.
Opening hours are
· Weekday mornings 10.30 to midday (last meals 11.15)
· Mon – Thurs evenings 20.00 –21.30 (last meals 20.45)
· Saturday lunchtime 12.30 – 14.00 (last meals 13.15)
· Sunday evenings 18.30 –20.00 (last meals 19.15)
The entrance for visitors to Centre is via the rear entrance, accessible through the side passage to the left of the front door. If you arrive early, please wait in the area by the rear entrance rather than in Spicer Street.
Please be considerate of our neighbours; no noise please while waiting for the Centre to open, when leaving and while in the vicinity of the Centre.
Centre 33 is a charity and is run by volunteers. Volunteers give their time to helping at Centre 33 and we expect visitors to treat the volunteers with respect. This includes being patient for food and drinks, not expecting repeat seconds and helping clear away plates etc to the scullery.
Visitors are friendly and supportive to each other and we do not accept aggressive or unruly behaviour in the Centre. We also have strict non-drug and non-alcohol policies. Visitors who do not abide by these rules will be asked to leave and could be banned from the Centre.
