Supporters
Centre 33 is a small local charity that provides practical support to homeless people and others with social needs in St Albans. In 2011, around 300 people used Centre 33 and over 7,800 meals were served.
Centre 33 only exists because of the generosity of so many in the St Albans area, whether in terms of time, donations of food, money etc or just practical support. Many of our visitors realise this and it is a source of comfort to know that they are not ignored or forgotten by so many in our community.
How to support Centre 33:
Volunteering: Volunteers are needed to:
· Open the Centre and cook meals etc. Volunteers work 2 hour shifts - mornings
(10.00 –12.00), evenings (19.30-21.30), Saturday lunchtimes (12.00-14.00) or
Sunday evenings (18.00-20.00). Some sessions are managed by church groups e.g.
Sunday evenings.
· Help with the management of the Centre e.g. food supplies, laundry, maintenance,
second-hand clothes
Some volunteers help once a week or once a fortnight but others commit less frequently or on a more variable basis. If interested in volunteering, please contact the Centre 33 volunteer coordinator via Information@Centre33.org

We are extremely grateful to all our supporters for whatever level of support they give us, small or large. In particular we would like to thank the following people and organisations for their support:
Marlborough Road Methodist Church, Spicer Street Church and the Seventh Day
Adventist Church, each of which organise teams of volunteers
Many local primary schools contributing harvest festival collections to Centre 33.
The greater variety in the food for our visitors is much appreciated.
